The Standard Hotel, which is situated in the Meat Packing District, is probably the most fashionable hotel of the moment. The black elevator, which broadcasts a psychedelic video, brings you all windows in the rooms that have a breathtaking view over the Hudson River. When you arrived in the 18th floor, there are the terrace and the Boom Boom Bar. I recommend it late in the day when the skyscrapers of the city lit up. This bar turns into a nightclub after 22h. The hotel is located above the High Line park on an old railway in the most fashionable district of NY.

To find the cozy atmosphere of an authentic brick house in New York, the restaurant 5 Ninth is the perfect place. On two floors with fireplaces, exposed beams, old parquet and lighting candles, we have the feeling to be into the house of our grandmother. According to rumors, the food is great and the atmosphere is sweet. Plus, it is possible to eat in a lovely garden in summer.
